The idea may be surprising because the quality record ISO 9001, version 2000, seems to be more about big industrial firms management than attorney firm management, because of the fact that an attorney firm is a very specific services firm.
About 200 attorney firms now passed this quality record in France, out of more than 40000 attorneys with extremely different practice areas.
The SCP MONCEAUX firm decided to take this measure in 2001, amongst the first hundred attorney firms in France sharing the same goal, in the prospect of:
- a better perception of the customers expectations, including “institutionals”, engaged in the same quality record, but also people on their own, interested in expressing their thoughts about the quality of the services provided and expected.
- a better harmonisation of the intern organisation, with more liable services, for a better work atmosphere and therefore an improvement of the satisfaction of the customer’s expectations.
The quality record ISO, passed on march 27th 2002, award an effort of constant improvement, respecting conformed procedures, in the idea of the quality record in its 2000 version.
The quality system of the firm mainly aim, in term of the customers relationship:
- An improvement of the response to the customers observations, especially thanks to the surveys, available online.
- A better information, because the customers have the right to expect a good reactivity of the firm.
- An improvement of the skills of the firm, who regularly attend training.
This quality record also admitted the firm to exchange with other firms, through the CAC ( Cercle des Avocats Certifiés ), which they cofounded.
In term of organisation and services, exchanging ideas is the best way to make strides.
